I am suppossed to have surgery, implants and periodontal work on my teeth. Can someone tell me about a chepa insurance here in CA ?

I want a dental insurance that will pay a good percentage toward fillings, root canals, extractions, and crowns. I am self-employed. Please help! I have never purchased dental insurance and the web search confused me. I also want to make sure there is no waiting period before I can use the benefits, because I need dental work as soon as possible.

I have a job that doesnt cover dental and I go to school(no coverage there) and soon or later I need to get braces but right now I have two wisdoms I need removed.

I never done this before so I really dont know where to start insurance wise.
